为了判断拆卸下来的koyo轴承是否可以再使用，要在深沟球轴承洗干净后检查，精心检查滚道面、滚动面、配合面的状态、保持架的磨损情况、轴承游隙的增加及有无关于尺寸精度下降的损伤、异常。非分离型小球轴承，则用一只手将内圈支持水平，旋转外圈确认是否流畅。koyo轴承等分离形轴承，可以对滚动体、外圈的滚道面分别检查。大型深沟球轴承因不能用手旋转，注意检查滚动体、滚道而、保持架、挡边面等外观，轴承的重要性愈高愈须慎重检查koyo轴承新投入使用的水泵，一般在运行1小时后须更换润滑脂(油)，以后每运行5小时更换1次。
